Recap & Tuning In (by teacher):
* Ask questions to prompt pupils to recap the activities
done the previous session.
"What do you remember doing last week? Easy or difficult
movements?"

feel? Excited or frustrated?"
"What do you think you and your friends may do when
feeling excited? How about frustrated?"
"What can you do to contain your excitement or deal
with the frustration?"
*Teachers to invite pupils to offer strategies to deal with
over-excitement.

Warm-Up (by instructor):
Pupils are given time to explore different movements/strokes
on their own through free style.
Main Activity (by instructor):
1. Practice steps from previous session.
2. Practise set routine with song
3. Introduction of more complex movements
Reflection/Discussion (by teacher):
Ask questions to stimulate reflection and open for
discussion.
1. Remind pupils about how it was like practising the more
complex steps.
"How do you feel when the instructors introduced the
more complex/ difficult movements?"
"Did you feel happy and excited to try it out?"
"Did you feel frustrated/ upset if you could not do it
properly?"
"Were you able to try out the different strategies as
discussed earlier?"
"Are there better way(s) we could do to help ourself
and friends when faced with that
situation?"
2. Revisit and reinforce learning points from last session
(Recognising strength and
self-efficacy).
"Do you remember what we talked about and shared from
last week?"
"Were you able to recognise your strength(s)
today?"
"Do you believe that you can do the varied and complex
steps?"
