Supermarket Shelf Poisons



Anybody that takes Vitamin C should avoid the following Soft drinks:
Sunkist, Fanta, Diet Coke, Sprite & Pepsi Max.

These drinks contain Sodium Benzoate 211 on the label. A chemical reaction between Vitamin C and Sodium Benzoate creates Benzine a highly Carcinogenic chemical (story by Channel 9). 

Benzine has the ability to severely damage the DNA in the Mitochondria to the point that it totally inactivates it, knocks it out altogether. The Mitochondria consumes oxygen to give you energy and if you damage it, then the cell starts to malfunction very seriously, often fatally, a whole array of diseases has been tied to the damage to the DNA, including Parkinson's Disease and quite a lot of Neuro-Degenerative Diseases....

This is a follow-up of all the TV station's story on Mentos and Diet Coke. Don't mix these two either, they cause a chemical reaction (explosion) in the stomach, it's not only Mentos but also any Mint products. Mint Life Savers, Tic Tac's, Cool Mint's, etc, the Mint is not the culprit here but the Aspartame in the Diet Drinks, 951 on the label, also avoid 950 Acelsultame F (same thing). Aspartame poisoning has been scientifically linked to 92 Symptoms of Disease.... Still going to drink your Diet Drinks???

Most European countries have forbidden the Importing and use in their country of Aspartame including all makes of Saccharin, example Equal, Nutra-Sweet, Spoonful & Diet Drinks, including 6,000 consumer good's and beverages, sold on the supermarket shelves. This ban affect's all use of this product in any type of consumable infringement and will carry penalties that go from 9.000 euros to 90,000 Euros. 

Mexico is also considering banning all 6,000 products of Aspartame on its supermarket shelves. In Mexico, Aspartame is known as Rumsfeld's Disease, after George Bush's mate Donald Rumsfeld. The Nutra-Sweet company and Searle are owned by Monsanto who appointed Rumsfeld as their General Manager, so they could use his clout with Parliament to get this Deadly Poison passed by the FDA and boost their sales of Aspartame.

Avoid all toothpastes made in China, especially Colgate's, they contain Ethylene Glycol. This is an Anti-Freezing agent, Highly toxic and even fatal - it destroys the liver, kidney, lung, blood cells, heart and the nervous system. It is also in some mouth washes, make-up, aftershave, baby powder and wipes, shampoo and deodorants.

Avoid Smarties; they contain almost every toxic artificial colour on the market.
 
The worst are 102, 104 and the worst of all: 110 carcinogenic, 124 undesirable, 127 carcinogenic, 128 extreme caution, 129,131, and 133 are also carcinogenic.
 
To top it off Smarties are not even made of Chocolate (neither are Tim Tam's).
 
Synthetic Chocolate has non-nutritional food value whatsoever.

Is Eating Rice Good For You?

RICE IS TASTELESS SUGAR.  
Hence, we can eat a lot of it.  
IN FACT, WAY TOO MUCH FOR OUR HEALTH.
 
I'm a big rice eater, but this is making me think 
twice about my rice-eating habit. 
 
Veggies are easier to plant than rice and they need less 
water, among other things...

 
 
Eat Less Rice! 

The human body was never meant to consume rice ! 
You see, our genes have hardly changed in more than 
30,000 years. 
However, our food choices and lifestyle have changed dramatically. 
The caveman would hardly recognize our food or way of life. 

Caveman food was never cooked as fire was not yet tamed. Thus, he ate only those foods that you can eat without treatment with or by fire. 
He ate fruits, vegetables, fish (sushi anyone?), eggs, nuts 
and meat. Yes, even meat ! 
You can even eat meat raw if you were starving in the forest. You have the necessary enzymes to digest meat. 

However, rice, like wheat and corn, cannot be eaten raw. 
It must be cooked. Even if you were starving in the desert, you cannot eat rice in the raw form.. 
This is because we do not have the system of enzymes to break rice down. You were never meant to eat rice. 
To make matters worse, you not only eat rice, but also make 
it the bulk of your food. 

In some parts of Asia, rice forms up to 85% of the plate. 
Even if you take rice, keep it to a minimum. 
Remember, it is only for your tongue - not your body. 
Actually, rice and other grains like wheat and corn are 
actually worse than sugar. 
 
There are many reasons: 

Rice becomes sugar - lots of it! 
This is a fact that no nutritionist can deny: 
rice is chemically no different from sugar. 
One bowl of cooked rice is the caloric equal of 10 teaspoons 
of sugar. 
 
This does not matter whether it is white, brown or herbal 
rice. 
Brown rice is richer in fiber, some B vitamins and minerals 
but it is still the caloric equal of 10 teaspoons of sugar. 
To get the same 10 teaspoons of sugar, you need to consume lots of kangkong - 10 bowls of it. 

Rice is digested to become sugar. 
Rice cannot be digested before it is thoroughly cooked. However, when thoroughly cooked, it becomes sugar and spikes circulating blood sugar within half an hour - 
almost as quickly as it would if you took a sugar candy. 
Rice is very low in the 'rainbow of anti-oxidants.'  

This complete anti-oxidant rainbow is necessary for the effective and safe utilization of sugar. Fruits come with a sugar called fructose. 
However, they are not empty calories as the fruit is packed with a whole host of othernutrients that help its proper assimilation and digestion. 

Rice has no fiber. 
The fiber of the kangkong fills you up long before your blood sugar spikes. 
This is because the fiber bulks and fills up your stomach. 
Since white rice has no fiber, you end up eating lots of 
'calorie dense' food before you get filled up. 
Brown rice has more fiber but still the same amount of sugar. 

Rice is tasteless-sugar is sweet. 
There is only so much that you can eat at one sitting. 
How many teaspoons of sugar can you eat before you feel 
like throwing up? 
Could you imagine eating 10 teaspoons of sugar in one seating? 

Rice is always the main part of the meal.  
 
 
Eating Sugar Unknowingly 
While sugar may fill your dessert or sweeten your coffee, it will never be the main part of any meal. 
You could eat maybe two to three teaspoons of sugar at one meal. 
However, you could easily eat the equal value of two to three bowls (20-30 teaspoons) of sugar in one meal. 
I am always amused when I see someone eat sometimes five bowls of rice (equals 50 teaspoons of sugar) and then asks for tea tarik kurang manis! 

There is no real 'built in' mechanism for us to prevent overeating of rice: 
How much kangkong can you eat? 
How much fried chicken can you eat? 
How much steamed fish can you eat?

Think about these! 

In one seating, you cannot take lots of chicken, fish or cucumber, but you can take lots of rice. 
Eating rice causes you to eat more salt. 
As rice is tasteless, you tend to consume more salt - 
another villain when it comes to high blood pressure. 
You tend to take more curry that has salt to help flavor rice. We also tend to consume more ketchup and soy sauce which are also rich in salt. 

Eating rice causes you to drink less water. 
The more rice you eat, the less water you will drink as there 
is no mechanism to prevent the overeating of rice. 
Rice, wheat and corn come hidden in our daily food. 
As rice is tasteless, it tends to end up in other foods that substitute rice like rice flour, noodles and bread. 
We tend to eat the hidden forms which still get digested into sugar. 

Rice, even when cooked, is difficult to digest. 
Can't eat raw rice ? 
Try eating rice half cooked. 
Contrary to popular belief, rice is very difficult to digest. 
It is 'heavy stuff'.
 
If you have problems with digestion, try skipping rice for 
a few days. 
You will be amazed at how the problem will just go away.


Rice prevents the absorption of several vitamins and minerals.

Rice when taken in bulk will reduce the absorption of vital nutrients like zinc, iron and the B vitamins. 

Are you a rice addict?
 
Going rice-less may not be easy but you can go rice-less. Eating less rice could be lot easier than you think. Here are some strategies that you can pursue in your quest to eat less rice:
Eat less rice  -  cut your rice by half.
 
Barry Sears, author of the Zone Diet 
advises 'eating rice like spice'.
 
Instead, increase your fruits and vegetables.
Take more lean meats and fish. 
You can even take more eggs and nuts.  

Have 'riceless' meals. 
Take no rice or wheat at say, breakfast. 
Go for eggs instead. 

Go on 'riceless' days. 
Go 'western' once a week.  

Take no rice and breads for one day every week. 
That can't be too difficult. 
Appreciate the richness of your food. 
Go for taste, colours and smells. 
Make eating a culinary delight. 
Enjoy your food in the original flavors. 

Avoid the salt shaker or ketchup. 
You will automatically eat less rice. 

Eat your fruit dessert before (Yes ! no printing error ) your meals. 
The fiber rich fruits will ''bulk up' in your stomach. 
Thus, you will eat less rice and more fruits, get sick less  
and even lose weight by eating less rice !  

It's your life. 
Decide what you want to eat ! 
But eat less rice !

Sea cucumber has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for hundreds of years, but they are relatively obscure in the U.S. This may be soon changing, however, as evidence mounts that sea cucumber extracts can kill cancer cells while stimulating the immune system.

As reported by Ethan Evers, author of "The Eden Prescription, previous research on sea cucumber has demonstrated its ability to kill lung, breast, prostate, skin, colon, pancreatic, and liver cancer cells. These extracts have also proven effective in killing leukemia and gioblastoma cells. Looks like we can add yet another food to the list of anti-cancer foods.
Scientists believe a key compound known as frondoside A to be responsible. Frondoside A is a triterpenoid, diverse organic compounds found in the essential oils and oleoresins of plants.
This latest study, published in PLoS One, has confirmed just how powerful frondoside A truly is. Researchers found it to kill 95% of ER+ breast cancer cells, 95% of liver cancer cells, 90% of melanoma cells, and 85-88% of three different types of lung cancer.
As Evers reports:
"But the benefits of this compound don't just stop at directly inducing programmed cell death (apoptosis). It also inhibits angiogenesis (the ability of tumors to grow new blood vessels to get their food) and stops cancer metastasizing by impeding cell migration and invasion. Even more intriguing is the ability of frondoside A to activate our immune system's natural killer cells to attack cancer cells. This has been shown for breast cancer in particular but may also apply to all cancers, because it involves the immune system and not cancer cells directly. This may partially explain why frondoside A was so effective at shrinking lung tumors in mice that it rivaled chemo drugs in performance."

When given to mice with non-small cell lung cancer, frondoside A was found to shrink tumors by 40% in only 10 days. Traditional chemo drugs shrunk the tumors by 47 percent, but the risks of chemo treatment are far greater than any side-effects or risks of sea cucumber. (Namely because there are no known risks associated with sea cucumbers). In addition, the amount of frondoside A needed to achieve such results was miniscule—less than a single milligram for an adult weighing 165 pounds.

A local journalist called and asked me " What would you do, Ajahn Brahm, if someone took a Buddhist Holy Book and flushed it down the toilet?" 

Without hesitation I answered "Sir, if someone took a Buddhist Holy Book and flushed it down the toilet, the first thing I would do is call a plumber!" 

When the journalist finished laughing, he confided in me that that was the most sensible answer he had heard. 

Then I went further. I explained that someone may blow up many statues of the Buddha, burn down Buddhist temples or kill Buddhist monks and nuns; they may destroy all of this but I will never allow them to destroy Buddhism. 

You may flush a Holy Book down a toilet, but you will never flush forgiveness, peace and compassion down a toilet. 

The book is not the religion, nor the statue, the building or the priest. These are only "containers." 

What does the book teach us? What does the statue represent? What qualities are the priests supposed to embody? This is the "content".

 When we recognize the difference between the container and the contents, then we will preserve the contents even when the container is being destroyed. 

We can print more books, build more temples and statues and even train more monks and nuns, but when we lose our love and respect for others and ourselves and replace it with violence, then the whole religion has gone down the toilet.
